The Andres is one of New England's largest outdoor sculpture gardens. It features work by a wide range of international sculptors. Most of the pieces are produced by visiting artists during the annual multi-week symposium that is usually held in the Fall, during the last weeks in September. The public is invited to visit during the symposium to observe the artists at work. This affords a rare opportunity to meet and speak with world class professional artists and to watch them work from concept to finished piece. The grounds are open to the public year-round, every day, dawn to dusk. Admission for casual hiking and all events, including the symposium, is free.
